This is a Scott Brodeen 31” (1/96 scale) Nautilus submarine recreation for the motion picture 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The hull is cast in upper and lower halves with the upper portion containing all the side rakers and dive planes. For this diorama, only the finished upper half of the boat was used and lighting was installed below to create the “phosphorescence” effect. |
