USS Kelvin

This is a completed model of what I thought the USS Kelvin may have looked like in Admiral Kirk's time of The Motion Picture. The Reliant and Enterprise A model parts were put to good use. The nacelle was widened and detailed. I constructed the upper decks out of sheet styrene, as well as the lower connecting dorsal. I then painted the ship white and azteced the ship. I did not want a pristine ship, instead I "roughed her up" a bit to appear as if she was working vessel and had been in a few scuffles.
