This is the USS Victory. She has the distinction of being the final Galaxy class starship to be constructed by Starfleet. Victory was launched from Utopia Planitia in early 2380 under the command of Captain Leon Thorpe and was assigned to the third fleet in the Taurus sector.

I have had this model for many years now and have painted and re painted it several times (each time getting better... I hope, though the deflector area probably could do with cleaning up...oh well) It wasn't until recently that I figured I should do the decals and finally finish this one off. The thing that had put me off had been all the little lifeboat decals, but I bit the bullet and got on with it. So it didn't drive totally over the edge I put them on just a dozen or so at a time. It took some time, but I was quite pleased with the results.

Obviously the name for the ship comes from Admiral Nelson's flagship and the registry number incorporates the year that the H.M.S. Victory was launched.
