This is the Space Battleship Yamato built in 1998. I only had 2 reference images to use along with a faded memory of the series (I had no pc at the time). An excellent build that should be attempted at least once. The main drive of this reconfigured WWII hulk is called the Wave Motion engine and is capable long rang warp (think Battlestar). Weapons are the 3 main (shock) cannons, 2 medium cannon, 2 banks of Anti-aircraft laser guns set on both sides of the ship, missiles, torpedos and a squadron of Black Tiger fighters. Oh, and the most important weapon of all...the Wave Motion cannon.
