BSG Vipers |

These are my heavily modified 1/32 moebius Vipers. These kits took me about 12 months to complete. I used a lot of reference photos of CGI Viper and full scale prop Viper from websites. I made two type of Vipers; one is CGI version( in flight version), another is full scale prop version(landing version). Battle damage and weathering of full scale prop version are less than the CGI version. I made two versions of cockpit. One is CGI version, another is full scale prop version. There are some differences between each other. For example, you see, the position of control stick. I made standing Apollo figure from the pilot figure in the kit. I think more than 90% are my own work. I made a ladder, too. As for the build of the ladder, the parts were simple, but it was difficult because I used a solder for assembling. I am not used to the use of the solder. If it possible to switch brass parts to resin parts, it might easy to assemble the ladder. But it was difficult to switch to resin because the brass parts were too small and too thin. I painted the basic color of fuselage and wings by airbrush, using decals only caution marks. I painted weathering by hand. Image: Cockpit Image: Console Image: Consoles Image: Left Image: Other Left Image: Left Front Image: Left Image: Pilot Image: Pilots Image: Rear Right |
