I just wanted to share with you pics of my 1/48 Skylab built for a customer. It took exactly 395 hours to complete. The Apollo CSM is from RealSpace, heavily modified to get it to fit together properly. The entire model is built around a 1/2" aluminum pipe that slides into a recess in the base. Constructed with ABS tubes and cones, plain/patterned styrene, cast resin parts, brass and aluminum tubing/rods, plastic-coated wire, etc. |
