ISS Arizona

By Brian Leadingham

First commissioned in 2285, the Imperial Starship Arizona was named for the famed USS Arizona destroyed by the Japanese Imperial Navy at Pearl Harbor in 1941. However since the creation of Section 31, this ship does not officially exist.  While Section 31 is no longer a secret organization, most of its people and starships remain a mystery

The ISS Arizona was immediately put into service after its secret construction at the Mars planetary shipyards in 2285. The Arizona is a Constitution Class (refit) vessel with a few major differences. This is a stealth ship!

The ISS Arizona is equipped with not only a cloaking device, but also hull armor and a specially designed paint job to mask it against active scanners when not cloaked. This is the evolution of the stealth technology developed by the Unites States military (now known as the American Empire) during the late 20th Century.

It is now 2295, and the ISS Arizona is under the command of a mysterious captain. Little is know about him except that he goes by the title, “Mr. Adventure”. Some have speculated he is the same lieutenant that claimed to have seen Admiral Kirk and crew steal the ISS Enterprise by surreptitiously sneaking onto it via a transporter located in Old Town San Francisco back in 2285. This is only speculation of course.

Reports indicate he was summarily executed for his role in the theft of the ISS Enterprise (later destroyed by Admiral Kirk). But most believe this to be false and that he in fact became a member of Section 31 instead.

This model was made form the Star Trek VI starship Enterprise from AMT/ERTL. Obviously, I did not follow the instructions. It is the first in a series I am trying to do that is all “Mirror Universe” oriented, although only this one will be a black “stealth” ship.
