USS Endurance

The USS Endurance is my homage to the Phase 2 Enterprise designs, rendered by artist Ralph McQuarrie. I think his version of the 1701 is one of the most memorable and original ideas ever devised for a starship design and is among my all time favorites. I'm very happy with the final result and hope that my model does justice to the idea behind it. The model is made of solid wood with cardboard and scrapbook cardstock for greebling. A few other embellishments from the hobby store are also included. She's finished with acrylic paints, brushed on. Image: Front Image: Left Image: Right Front
