This entry into the Gallery is the Starfleet NX class vessel Serenity. She's commanded by Capt. Malcolm Reynolds, and while her crew is.....less than a shining example of what Starfleet expects, they do get the job done, and very well at that.

Erm, sorry. Couldn't help myself there. I do love a little crossover action...

The kit itself is an out of the box Round 2/ Polar Lights 1:1000 Enterprise, and the decals are made by the incomparable JT Graphics. I used the alternate dish on the front, but i did trim the antenne down a bit wanting it to be slightly different. I also used the aztec masks by Aztek Dummy. I'd never used a masking set before, but was surprised at how easy it was to use.

I did a TINY bit of weathering over the ship, to show that they haven't had it easy being out in the farthest reaches, but overall just left it as is.
